Contrast between college life and high school life
We have been graduated from senior school 2 years ago,in these 2 years,I have experienced a lot of things about college life.Someone have ever asked me:”what do you think of your college life?have you felt any differences between college and senior school life?”my answer is,there is no doubt that college life is quite different from senior school life,and I think lots of college students will agree with me,since these difference have shown in every aspects of our daily life.The first,also the most obvious one,is our daily expense.When we are in college,must students,like me ,get expense monthly from our parents,like ordianry office workers receive salary from their company.But after we get money,we found it is hard to control,I always found money is out when I in end of the month,sometime I try to save every cent but it seems don’t work.But such problem we couldn’t meet in high school,since we could ask for money from our parents when we need,I describe high school life as “Communist”and college life as”Capitalist”
Another difference we can’t ignore is the living condition.Although some of us have already had student’s domitory experience in high school,but we still can’t avoid get in troubles.When we were in high school,despite the students who lived in house,the students who lived in school have good living condition,school and parents have prepared
nearly everything for them,but in college,this is definitely different from high school,we have to prepare everything for ourselves:water,bedding, Electicity and so-on.At the same time,when in high school dormitory,the roommates came from the same city,we have the same native accent and same cultural background,but this is impoible in college dormitory.Last,also the most important one,is the difference between studying manner in high school and college.When we were in high school,teachers have arranged everything for us:homework,self-study time,and examination.All of us have the same objection:National College Enterance Examination.But in College,things are totally different.No one arranged us for anything.Teachers just teach us,and arranged us for homework,tell us when to exam.Than?nothing.Teachers don’t arrange for self-study time,they also don’t urge you everyday like what high school teacher did,and the objection is not as unanimous as before:Some people go to work after they graduate,but some choose get a higher degree.As a conclusion,we can say high school life is quite different from college life.Someone may think high school is better,but we should looking forward,diligent to our daily life,and we can get a better future.
