Man and Computer
Ever since the birth of it in 1946, the computer has changed human being’s lives profoundly, and people become dependent on computers so heavily that it is hard to imagine the life without computers.Therefore, there exists a saying that the real danger is not that the computer will begin to think like man, but that man will begin to think like the computer.Their concern make sense at first glance.The reasons, from my perspective, is that computers are gradually not only used in mathematical calculation, but also in places like hospital, library and military to release humans from repetitive or dangerous tasks.Thus, Computers have incorporated into our daily lives and transformed into an inseparable part of human society.Can man be conqured by computers eventually? The answer is negative.On the one hand, although computers replace the work of man, the creative works, such as scientific research, require imagination and cannot be completed by computers, in other words, a computer is not a universal tool.On the other hand, although a computer works much faster and accurately compared with man, a premise is undeniable: Computers are designed, manufactured and programmed by our humans.Taken all the factors into consideration, I believe humans, unlike computers, are intelligent enough and will find better ways to live in harmony with computers.
