When you hear about the fact that there are about 23,000 dolphins killed every year in a village named Taiji in Japan, you may be astonished and wonder how is this kind of cruel things come into being? As a matter of fact, I always agree with the theory that any type of life should be equally inspired.Neverthele, it is obviously that some people prefer to put their own interests above all others.According to this documentary film, The Cove, the Japanese government and some businemen are playing the evil roles in the dolphin-slaughter iue.First of all, as dolphins in the ocean park can make a large sum of money after training, these poor creatures are captured and trapped in a sealed pool which makes them very uncomfortable and streful and lots of them die.Second, having long ignored global attempts to protect whales from being fished to extinction, the Japanese businemen have found dolphins easier to find.So they mislabel them as whale meat and sell it from Taiji to over seas.The last but not the least, because the Japanese government know exactly that dolphin’s flesh has such a high concentration of mercury that it’s dangerous to eat and that this kind of slaughter will be criticized by people all over the world, they lie to the fishermen that dolphin is a harmful kind for eating too much fishes, which is bad for the sea world, and keep people away from the Taiji cove just in order to cover the truth.In short, quantities of bad influence like those I’ve just mentioned above are all out of the motivation of chasing the great benefits of those selfish people themselves.But the truth is that any type of life should be equally respected and one should never achieve his own good by ignoring others interests.No matter to human or to other creatures in the world.
