My friends, I am honor to have a chance to deliver my speech.As for the cigarette, there had been a longtime when I was a little girl I am curious about it.So I remember a time, I picked up the abandon cigarette end and smoked slightly.It is so smoky to breathe.From that day on, I never try to tough this terrible thing.Thus, I advocate banning smoking.In order to prove this opinion, I have three arguments.The first one is that smoking will harm our health.The second one is that smoking is bad to busine.The third one is that it will reduce quality of our life.For the first point, according to many reports, which smoking causes lung cancer as well as other diseases.For instance, smoking also can contribute to heart attacks and strokes ,for smoking increase blood preure and slows the flow of oxygen in smoker’s body.Moreover, if a smoker smoke in public place, it will influence on others.The American Cancer Society reports that second –hand smoke can also cause heart disease and breathing problems even the breast cancer.Every non-smoker who have to experience second-hand smoke for a short time and they must feel unpleasant.The second one is that smoking is bad to busine.For example, there are a lot of people who are absorbed in the smoking.During the working lifetime, they smoke as much as poible.And many businees always smoke in the meeting.Smoke saturates clothing, hair ,purses and anything else carried or worn that absorbs, leaving a person smelling of long after a meeting or luncheon ends.While old or left-over tobacco has a stale odor.Neither the casual customer nor the busine person in an expensive suit wants to leave a busine company filled with reeking of smoke.The last reason is smoking will reduce quality of our life.A happy family need material and spiritual basis.A heavy smoker exist in any family, this family can’t be harmonious and happy.Generally speaking.Most of heavy smokers don’t like work and just smoke all the day.Therefore, he can’t have enough income and his families won’t like him.Gradually, the quality of life must be reduced.In a word, cigarette give us a lot of troubles.Banning smoking becomes a urgency of now.
