《The complete set of Sherlock Holmes》is a novel written by Arthur Conan Doyle.It’s one of my favourite novels.I first read it in a library after opening the book I continued reading till the last page.It’s amazing that there should be such a wonderful novel.I can read it three times a year.Conan Doyle was born in 1859 in Edinburgh , Scotland.He is one of the most important novelists in the detective story’s history.He wrote the first novel called 《A study in Scarlet》.There was a famous detective in this novel.Sherlock Holmes was a clever and brave detective in London.Everyone knew him.He could find prisoners at first sight.He tried to solve the crime.Holmes was a genius ,too.He was good at medicine, psychology and logic.Holmes had an aistant called Watson.Waston and Holmes were best friends.Watson was a doctor.He always admired Holmes.He thought that Holmes could understand others’ heart.Watson said that Holmes was excited when the cases happened.However, when there was no cases, Holmes had to
take somecocaine.Watson often told him not to take too much cocaine.But Holmes told Watson he was very bored and wanted to sleep when he didn’t take the cocaine.While I was reading this novel , I forgot the time.Because this novel is interesting.I can learn something from the story.The novel makes me became clever.
