One-off merchandise, such as disposable chopsticks, tableware, cups and plastic bags, not only waste natural sources but also do harm for nature and the living environment of human being.Therefore, if I have the right to ban anything in the world, I will ban the use of one-off
merchandise.It is evident to know that it's neceary to ban the one-off goods from the following three reasons.First, the produce of one-off merchandise will waste a lot of natural sources, such as woods and oil, which originally can be used to promote the growth of urban development and improve people's living standard.Take disposable chopsticks for example.It is reported that every 5,000 pairs of disposable chopsticks will cost a poplar tree of 30 years old, so everyday the produce of them will use up a forest of more than 100 acres.We can not deny facts that disappear of the forest will cause serious desertification and water lo and soil erosion.All of these problems will cause lo of life and money.Therefore, whatever the numbers above shock the public or not, it's
poible to say that the produce of disposable chopsticks not only waste woods but discourage the growth of economy.Second, one-off merchandise is harm for nature and the heath of human being because the use and discard of the goods will produce mountains of trash.Take disposable plastic bags for example.No matter when we go shopping or carry things, we choose to use plastic bags because of its convenience, so a kind of new pollution--white pollution--appears.Besides, the abandoned bags will fly here and there whenever they meet winds.The bags will cover people's eyes when they walk or mix the traffic order by covering the lights, so many traffic accidents happen in this way.What's more, plastic bags are difficult to rot and decompose even if we use it only once.The unrotten bags will pollute water and earth.And if the bags are burned, they give off poisonous gases to pollute air.It's poible to aume that we use the one-off merchandise only once at the cost of polluting the environment and ruining people's heath.The last but not the least, the use and discard of one-off merchandise help people shape habits of unfriendly patterns of consumption.In terms of convenience, a person prefers to use disposable chopsticks, tableware, and plastic bags, which is not responsible for nature and the environment.This behavior violates the principles of “friendly and harmonious society”.What's more, we still choose to use one-off merchandise even though we know they are harmful, how could we educate our child in the future? We should avoid the coming of a vicious circle which will ruin all the human being.To sum up, even though one-off goods are convenient and cheap, we should avoid using them because they not only waste a lot of natural sources and cause serious environmental problems but also do harm for nature, the environment and the heath of human being.Besides, they are not good for shaping a friendly spending pattern and educating our offspring.Therefore, the produce and use of one-off merchandise should be banned.
