Just as I have met many people, I have read a lot of books.However, if someone asks my favorite one, I will introduce Stray Birds, written by my favorite writer Tagore, to him immediately.I could still remember the day when I was refused by the interviewer of my first interview, and don‟t know what to do next.Somehow I saw the sentence “Don„t try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.” And soon I made up my mind and tried to prepared myself for the next.Just like Tagore wanted to tell us, if we keep on trying the best things always come when we least expect them to.I could still remember the days when I kept asking myself what to do in the future.And one day I got the book How to Win Friends and Influence People from my best friend.I spent a few hours on it only because of the appreciation to my friend.However, I decided to read it again as soon as I finished it.It seemed as if I have found what I was and what I was going to be in the book.At last I closed the book and went to see the job interviewer, I could not wait to tell him that I was prepared for the task.My Activities in Leisure Time
If I don‟t have to go to work, I would like to do a lot of things.I would like to take my parents to the park for some fresh air.I would like to borrow some books for my husband from the library.I would like to take the child to the zoo to show him how lovely the animals are.And I would like to go shopping with my friends.What‟s more, I would like to go from a short trip by myself to see how wonderful the life is.If I don‟t have to go to work, I would like to do a lot of things.I would like to cook a meal for my parents.I would like to choose some presents for my wife.I would like to take my child to the museum to show him the history of the county.And I would like to visit some towns with my friends.What‟s more, I would like to read some books from the library to enrich my knowledge to the rest of the world.My Hometown

While learning English I found listening is the most difficult part.Thanks to the advice of my teacher I found some ways of overcoming the difficulties by myself.I would like to listen to some English news on TV and some listening texts downloaded from the computer.And I would like to watch some English movies on the weekends.What‟s more, I would like to listen to some songs before I go to bed every night.After a few months of practicing I found my listening was greatly improved.Therefore, practice is the best teacher in overcoming the difficulties.While learning English I found reading is the most difficult part.Thanks to the suggestion of my friend I found some ways of overcoming the difficulties by myself.I was used to turn to a dictionary when I met a new word, however, I would like to gue the meaning of it first now.The favor of reading introduced me to read some English newspaper and magazines on the net every day, and some versions written by the famous writers from the other side of the oceans.After a few months I found I was completely fell in love with reading, and my reading skills was improved.Therefore, interests are the best friend in overcoming the difficulties.An Unforgettable Day
I would never forget the day when I stepped into the gate of my college for the first time.It was the first time that I went to somewhere without parents and friends around me.I was shocked by the unfamiliar scene and sudden loneline.However, I was eager to learn and I would like to be a part of the beautiful campus immediately.My teacher warmly welcomed me and showed me to my new roommates.From their bright smiles I knew that there would be many unforgettable days in the future.I would never forget the day when I stepped into the gate of my office for the first time.It was the first time I took the earliest bus by myself without eating the breakfast prepared by my
mother.The bright office was filled by other young faces and the new suits encouraged my nerves.Our superintendent received us and showed us with the tasks the newcomers had to fulfill in the following months.We looked at each other and smiled as if we were the soldiers in a battle.We all knew that an encouraging future is waiting for us, and we should try very hard if we wanted to succeed.
