Thank you for giving me the chance to introduce my major.I am Houkang, come from School of Chemical Engineering and Technology.My major is chemical technology.And the subject of my presentation is about chemical technology.At the same time, I will talk something about coal chemical industry.In order to let you know more clearly about the chemical technology, I’d like to give you a brief overview about my presentation.And my presentation will fall into fourparts.First, I would like to brief you on the subject of chemical technology.And then I will introduce you to the present situation of Chemical technology.Third I will give you something about the prospect of Chemical technology.In the end, talk something about coal chemical industry.Chemical technology is a discipline influencing numerous areas of technology.Chemical production and technology, we might say, is a method and proce which turnthe raw material into the product through the chemical reaction, including the implementation of all measures of this change.In broad terms, chemical engineers are responsible for the conception and design of procees for the purpose of production, transformation and transportation of materials.This activity begins with laboratory experiment and is followed by implementation of the technology to full scale production.In recent years, chemical technologyhas already developed into a perfect discipline.It is mainly for the chemical industry services, and it is divide into four parts: the coal chemical industry, the petroleum chemical industry, basic chemical and chemical fiber.The basic chemical divided into organic matter, plastics and rubber products, and so on.We have made rapid development in chemical technology, include Petroleum and chemical products, coal chemical products.But with the rapid development of economy, We had caused some problems because of the extensive development of chemical industry.Such as air pollution(Because of the chemical industry emiions of soot particles, sulfur dioxide and nitric oxide), greenhouse effect(Mainly due to emiions of carbon dioxide)and so on.As you know, Because of the characteristics of high pollution and high energy consumption in the chemical industry, We have to take more effective and scientific way to the product chemical products.The main prospect of chemical technology is: make the basic chemical industry production large scale , make full use of raw materials and by-products, the use of new materials and new catalysts(including new reaction), reduce energy consumption, to prevent the pollution of the environment, production control, production optimization.Along with the state-owned enterprises increasingly attach importance to the
development of fine chemical industry, the development prospects of fine chemical industry in China is very optimistic
Last but not least, I want to say some thing about coal chemical industry.Of course, coal is the main object of my study.And I will do some research experiment about Molecular structure of coal.And then test the properties of coal in order to make better use of all kinds of coal.That’s all!Thanks for your listening!
