Good evening everyone, my name is Nadiya , its my honor to be hereand give a speech to all of ya.please give me a second and take a look at my university.As a junior, having spent nearly three years of my university time, i think it is a right time to talk about the university in my eyes.Despite some differences, university is a time unlike any other in my life: Im in a new place, I gained independence and my adult life is gradually staring me in the face.most importantly, university is a stage where i act in different self until find the real me.University gives me the chance to be myself.There, I am regarded as a grown, mature and independent person., To be here, you hace choices to make and you know it :making kinds of choices on my own Every
summer and winter vacation, never was i bundled with homework as i did in high school, but freed myselfto part-timejobs, such as a tutor, or an aistant.Honestly, It was really fun because i could play kinds of
rolesandgot money for my living expences and some new year gifts for family.By the way, Extracurricular Life can also be rich and
colorful :Volunteering at a community to teach old people English is one of them.when they looking with wishful eyes at me , From their earnest face, i could tell their inner desire and respect for the knowledge.Concentrating on what they have been studied,everyone of them is just as fresh as a newly-born baby.Though I have completed most of the time of college, there are still many things I don’t know.Even though being a college graduates, my education would just begin.I often ask myself, what I expect from college ?Most parents would say, you must study hard in university so that you can get a good job after leaving school.And then everything would be fine , find a good guy, buy a big house, live a happy life.Is that really means that, if my university begins just for a job to fill a hungry stomach, I would rather not to start.what I truly expect is, a critical thinking skills, the needs for personal responsibility and an unforgettable school life.This is the university in my eyes.Thank you all for listening.
