Good morning, boys and girls.At the beginning of my speech , I have several questions for you: do you still remember your innocent childhood when you watched various cartoons? Do you still reminisced your innocent childhood when you can play to your heart’s content? Do you still remember the story of ugly ducking? at this time ,I am sure that your innocent childhood is the ward that come to your mind, isn’t it? I took a tumble, what we can’t afford to lose is childlike innocence!
Childlike innocence means to keep a child mind.Children are the most magical and wonderful creatures in the earth, theyhave crystal hearts ,they are loyal to others, they are full of creative ideas.children are the meengers of joy, when you feel depreed or even cannot breath ,why not look at their smiling faces, which makes you feel that you are reborn in their shining eyes!
However, we are living in a century of substance, and what we care most are some realistic iues such as money ,power and the like.My dear friends, how many times have you felt exhausted or upset? And how many times have you despaired to go back your childhood? However, it is like thief at night, before we could do anything about it, taking away with all the treasures I held most in my heart.as it fades away, more complicated things takes its place.we try every poible means to get an advantage over others ,we protect ourselves against all the rumors and hurts!we come too realize that what we can’t afford to lose is childlike innocence!
Boys and girls, are you impreed by the coke cola boy in Wenchuan earthquake? Although this disaster is far away from us, this optimistic boy exerts a great effect on us.The moment the firefighters saved him out of danger, the first word he said was:” uncle, can you give me a gla of coke cola?” at that time, people all smiled and sighed with relief.Because this boy delivers a meage of hope ,from his reactions we understand that always hold a positive attitude towards the hardships and suffering because every cloud has a silver lining!To keep a child mind doesn’t mean that you are naïve or childish, it means simple and trusting like a child, it doesn’t mean that you are simple-minded, it does mean that your innovation and creation can be fully created.just as a wise man said,” every child comes with the meage that god is not discouraged of men.” Try to keep a child mind, to touch the stars and embrace the moon, you’ll find that a lot of mysterious things are waiting for you to search.Try to keep a child mind, revive the paion in life, remember that no matter how frustrating today is, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!To keep a child mind, to enjoy the happy flower blooming from the bottom of your heart!
If we lose it, the world will be covered with darkne and panic, if we lose it ,our inner heart will be as bleak as a deert.If we lose it, there will be people wearing masks!If we lose it, we will lose all kinds of virtue including curiosity, understanding and kindne!
When we are young, happine is so simple, when we grow old ,simplicity is happine!Live with a child mind, lead a better life!
In a word, what we cannot afford to lose is childlike innocence!
