B will incur additional Fixed Overhead of 800.The third one can also sell products in the original price, and get 20% discount from suppliers.The disadvantages of the third opinion is the direct labour in Department A would be charged at time and a half for the employees use their overtimes.Summary I will chose the second one.Although it is a little complex, it need to close the Department C, and Department A and B will incur additional Fixed Overhead.The opportunity cost spend money.Finally we achieved the goal of maximizing benefits.We can get the maximum profit.
