湖南外贸职业学院简介
湖南外贸职业学院是2003年经湖南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，集学历教育、职业培训为一体的公办全日制普通高等职业学院，由湖南省商务厅主管。学院前身为1954年创建的湖南省粮食学校和1978年创建的湖南省对外经济贸易学校。自创办以来共培养了4万多名优秀人才，被誉为湖南外贸“黄埔军校”。
学院分南、北校区和新校区（在建）三个校区，现有全日制高职在校生6000余人，设有国际贸易系、商务外语系、会计系、工商管理系、动漫艺术学院、国际学院、服务外包学院、继续教育学院，开办有国际经济与贸易、商务英语、物流管理、应用韩语、会计电算化、软件服务外包、动漫设计与制作、皮具设计、成本管控等三十多个专业。
学院现有在职教职工411人，其中专任教师271人，具有副高以上职称的教师111人，青年教师中具有硕士及以上学位的教师112人，专职外籍教师5人，“双师型”教师119人。
2008年，学院在教育部组织的高职高专院校人才培养工作水平评估中获得优秀等级，名列当年全省13所参评院校榜首。2009年学院被评为湖南省示范性高职学院。目前已获得20个省级以上范性特色专业、精品专业、精品课程、实训基地、教学团队、专业带头人等重点建设项目；形成了以外贸类专业为龙头，以外语类专业为基础，以服务外包类专业为重点，以对外联合办学为拓展的“四外”办学特色。2010年12月，经省教育厅、省商务厅批准，学院牵头组建湖南国际经贸职业教育集团。2011年4月28日，集团正式成立，现正积极申报省级示范性职业教育集团。
学院先后被授予“全国外经贸行业外向型人才培养基地”、“商务部首批国际商务官员研修基地”、“湖南省涉外人才培养培训基地”、“湖南省新农村建设商务人才培养基地”、湖南省首批“服务外包人才培训基地”、“湖南省外派劳务人员培训中心”、“湖南省服务贸易研究中心”、“湖南省旅游教育培训示范院校”。学院与澳大利亚博士山学院联合办学，是湖南省仅有的两所教育部批准的中外合作办学高职院校之一，也是湖南省首家服务外包专业招生学校。

学院学生技能水平高。近年来，学生参加国家商务部、湖南省组织的计算机技能竞赛、英语演讲比赛、单证员、报关员、网络应用设计、会计实务与电算化、酒店餐饮服务和全国外贸技能大赛等各类职业技能比赛中获奖共33项。我院商务英语专业每年向商务部派送实习生，实习成绩突出，2006年原商务部部长***同志和美国微软公司总裁比尔•盖茨一同接见了我校实习生，并合影留念。
学院先后被授予全国外经贸行业外向型人才培养基地、湖南省涉外人才培养培训基地、中央财政支持的国际经济与贸易专业重点建设实训基地、湖南省首批“服务外包人才培训基地”、湖南省外派劳务人员培训中心、湖南省旅游教育培训示范院校、湖南省新农村建设商务人才培养基地，并且被浙江金华湖南商会确
定为“创业型人才培养基地”。
学院大力推行工学结合教学模式，积极加强校企合作，以创业促就业，探索出了专业设置紧贴产业需求、课程设置紧贴业务流程、课程内容紧贴岗位能力、课堂情景紧贴工作环境、实习实训紧贴学生就业、职业考证紧贴岗位标准、职业培训紧贴行业需求、创业教育紧贴市场导向的“八紧贴”全新商务人才培养模式。
学院先后跟500多家国际国内大型企业签订了校企合作协议，为学生实训、实习、就业提供了保障，毕业生出现了供不应求的良好就业态势，就业率高达90%以上，连续多年被湖南省教育厅评为“毕业生就业
工作优秀单位”。

A Brief Introduction of College
