介绍自己的家乡 三门峡 Dear friends, I'm glad to introduce my hometown to you.I live in a beautiful city named Sanmenxia, which is located in western Henan Province on the southern bank of Yellow River---our Mother River.In the 1950s, shortly after the establishment of New China, hundreds of thousands of people came here and built “the first dam of Yellow River”---Sanmenxia Water Control Project.Every winter the city is the habitat of giant swans.Many tourists travel to Sanmenxia in order to see the beauty of white swans.Our city has a long history.The scenery here is fascinating.There are quite a few places of interest such as Yellow River Dam, Swan Lake, Museum of Kingdom Guo, Hangu Pa, Yu Xi Grand Valley, Mt Gan Nationl Forest Park and so on.Some of them are nationally famous.People in my hometown are friendly and warm-hearted.They welcome travelers from all over the world.I like my hometown very much!
