第二届“研究生人文教育与学术交流月”简介
一、背景
为贯彻落实《教育部国家发展改革委财政部关于深化研究生教育改革的意见》及《教育部关于改进和加强研究生课程建设的意见》等文件精神,电子科技大学在《研究生教育“十三五”发展规划》中明确提出:从2016年起,设立“研究生人文教育与学术交流月”(简称“交流月”),重点围绕提升研究生综合素质与人文修养、拓宽国际视野为目标开展系列专题活动,时间定为每年6月。
二、原则
“交流月”活动内容充分体现电子科技大学《研究生教育“十三五”发展规划》中提出的研究生教育“三结合”培养全覆盖的教育理念,即国内与国外培养相结合,拓宽研究生国际视野;校内与校外培养相结合,增强研究生职业胜任能力;科学与人文培养相结合,提高研究生综合素质。具体包括:
(一)促进交流,拓展视野,提升创新能力
以讲座、课程教学、教学研讨等形式为依托,促进我校师生与国内外著名高校、科研(院)所、企(事)业单位专家学者的深入交流,提升师生国际学术交流和实践创新能力。
(二)全面发展,提升研究生综合素质与人文修养
以知识、素质、能力协调发展为出发点,致力于研究生,尤其是理工科研究生知识结构优化和综合素质提升,培养学生的科学精神和人文素养,为研究生的全面发展奠定基础。
(三)科学定位,突出学科交叉
鼓励在开设的讲座、课程、教学研讨、创新项目等活动中突出自然科学与社会科学之间、各学科之间的交叉、融合和渗透,拓展学生的学科思维。
三、内容
第二届“人文教育与学术交流月”活动主要包括三大部分:(一)高水平专题讲座
该类讲座本着“大师领衔、名家荟萃”的思想,主要邀请海内外高校、科研院所、企(事)业大师、名家、“国字号”人才举办专题讲座。讲座分为三类:学 电子科技大学第二届“研究生人文教育与学术交流月”
术前沿讲座、人文素质讲座、行业发展分析及技术研究讲座。学术前沿讲座主要包含学科或相关学科领域的前沿知识,最新的研究动态等;人文素质讲座主要包含提升研究生综合素质的内容,如历史文化、身心健康教育、国情与国际关系、演讲与口才、财务管理、谈判技巧、英文论文的撰写与投稿等;行业发展分析及技术研究讲座主要包含对行业发展情况、行业技术发展的趋势、研究热点等的深入分析。
(二)高水平课程
本着“短而精”原则,文管类一般为16学时、1学分,上课时间原则上不少于4天;理工类一般20学时、1学分,上课时间原则上不少于5天。
1.高水平学术课程
课程突出“促进交流,拓宽视野”的原则,以课堂学习和课下讨论为依托,促进师生与国内外著名高校教师的深入交流,提升师生国际学术交流能力,帮助学生紧跟科技前沿,掌握先进的科研方法。包括6类专题,分别是:电子信息技术专题,计算机、软件技术专题,机械设计、控制技术专题,生物医学技术专题,纳米、量子等前沿交叉学科专题,金融、管理类专题。邀请国内外知名大学和科研(院)所专家,世界500强企业资深科学家或首席科学家开设。
2.人文素质教育课程
以知识、素质、能力协调发展为出发点,致力于研究生知识结构优化和综合素质提升,培养学生的科学精神和人文素养,促进学生的全面发展。内容可包含国情与国际关系、健康教育、心理卫生、人文艺术、金融管理、专利与知识产权、协调与沟通、跨文化交流等。
3.企业课程与创新创业课程
以实践创新,提高研究生的职业胜任力为出发点,遴选已建立的校内外实验实践基地高水平专家,或知名企业家、创业成功者、风险投资人等各行各业优秀人才开设。
(三)教学、科研等交流研讨活动
1.学术沙龙。学术沙龙采取自由交流的形式,在课下搭建专家和我校师生间的交流平台,以学术、教学、创新实践等为主题,开展主题交流,以扩大青年教师的教学视野,增进师生对国内外教学理念、模式与方法或相关领域研究现状的了解。

2.课程观摩。学院组织课程相关专业的青年教师进行观摩,结合教学方法、针对教学特点和技巧等进行交流和探讨。
(四)“研究生教育创新计划”项目
主要包括举办全国性研究生暑期学校、全国博士生学术论坛、高水平科技竞赛等内容。
Second Term UESTC Postgraduate Humanity Education and Academic Exchange Program I.Background In June 2017, UESTC is to offer the second term of Postgraduate Humanity Education and Academic Exchange Program which was initiated in 2016 in accordance with the UESTC 13th Five Year Plan on Postgraduate Education Development.The purpose of the program is to enhance the postgraduates’ overall quality and humanity attainment, and to broaden their international horizon.II.Principles Contents of the activities in this program should reflect the educational ideas of three integrations, namely, integration of education home and aboard to broaden the postgraduates’ international horizon, integration of education on and off campus to enhance the postgraduates’ ability of adapting to future careers, integration of education in science and humanity to enhance the postgraduates’ overall quality.1.Facilitating communication to broaden horizon and enhance innovation ability This program consists of lectures, courses, and seminars to facilitate in-depth communication between faculty and postgraduates of UESTC and experts and scholars invited from prestigious universities, research institutions, and enterprises home and aboard.The purpose is to improve the postgraduates’ international academic exchange and innovation practice abilities.2.Enhancing overall quality and humanity attainment for all-round development This program is designed for harmonious development of UESTC postgraduates, especially those majoring in science and engineering, in knowledge, quality, and ability, so as to optimize their knowledge structure, to improve their overall quality, and to cultivate their scientific spirits and humanity attainment.3.Scientific orientation and interdisciplinary prominence
Integrations, overlaps, and blends of different disciplines in natural science and social science
are encouraged in lectures, courses, seminars, and innovation projects in this program for the postgraduates’ development in interdisciplinary thinking.III.Activities Activities of this program consist of following three categories.1.High-level lectures on special topics Scholars, experts and entrepreneurs from prestigious universities, research institutes, and enterprises home and abroad are to be invited to offer academic lectures on special topics of frontier academic studies, humanity iues, industry development analysis, and technology research.Lectures of academic focuses studies focus on new knowledge of the related disciplines, updated information of current studies.Humanity lectures cover such topics as history, culture, physical and mental health education, national conditions and international relations, public speech and eloquence, financial management, negotiation skills, writing research papers in English and submitting papers for publication.Lectures of industry development analysis and technology research cover such topics as development of related industries, trend of technology development in related industries, in-depth analysis of research hotpots.2.High-level courses
The courses to be offered should be brief and refined.Each course is designed for 1 credit, 16 periods for a humanity course and 20 periods for a science or engineering course, which should last for at least 5 days.(1)High-level academic courses Following the principles of “facilitating communication and broadening horizon”, the academic courses consist of claroom learning and after-cla discuion, so that UESTC faculty and postgraduates can have in-depth communication with scholars from prestigious universities home and aboard.The postgraduates can enhance their international academic exchange ability, closely follow academic frontier, and master advanced research methods.Such courses fall into 6 specialized fields: electronic and information technology, computer science, software technology, machine design, control technology, biological and biotechnology and medical technology, nanometer technology, quantum technology, financial management etc.(2)Humanity education courses Humanity education courses are design to help UESTC postgraduates harmoniously develop their knowledge, quality and ability, and enhance their scientific and humanist spirit for an all-around development.Contents of such courses cover national conditions and international relations, physical and mental health education, history, literature, arts, finance management, patent and intellectual property, cro-cultural communication, etc.(3)Courses of innovation and entrepreneurship
Such courses are to be offered by innovative experts, famous entrepreneurs, and
venture capitalists.The purposes of these courses are to involve UESTC postgraduates in innovation practice, and to enhance their ability of adapting to future careers.3.Discuions on teaching and research(1)Academic salon Academic salon activities are designed free communication between the invited experts and UESTC faculty and postgraduates.Topics of such activities focus on academic research, teaching reform and innovation practice so as to help the young faculty members broaden their teaching horizons and be better informed of current situation of researches abroad in teaching theories, models and methods.(2)Course observation
Young faculty members of UESTC are to observe related courses and to discu and learn from the invited scholars and experts regarding teaching methods and skills.4.Postgraduate education innovation projects
Postgraduate education innovation projects mainly include summer schools, national doctoral student academic forums, and high-level science and technology contests.
