The life of my mother’s era
My mother always like to tell stories at her age in which I was not interested when I was young.As time went by , I realized it was the most precious treasure had a great effect on my life.It helps me to appreciate the joys that life gives me, no matter how small.The life of my mother was totally different from mine.The average standard of living of that age was, seen from our present-day point-of-view, shockingly bad.Although my mother came from a family that just have adequate food and clothing, she had to give up going to school to earn money.Every morning at about 4 o’clock she had to get up early to go to the fields for cow grazing until the cow was full.In addition to that, My mother got back home and took care of her older sister because of sister’s bad physical condition and lingering illne, which make her suffer from increased tension.The most aspect that impreed me was the poverty of that age.As she said, she didn’t have substantial food to eat.In her childhood, egg and meat was delicious food as for her.What I am most interested in was her romantic relationship between her and my father.Most of them met through omiai, in which marriage-minded people were introduced to each other by relatives or family friends.On the contrary, most of us got married by means of freedom love.Maybe it also means the development of society.Although the standard of our life was improving today,we should cherish the literacy and virtue that the last generation was owned.
