4.Learning English（学习英语）At the beginning of my English study.It's indeed a tough way for me to go.I was busy in practicing my Listening、Speaking、Reading、and Writing at the same time, but as time goes by.I finally summarized a seriries of method of learning a foreign language ,I do also made proge in this hard proce.As we all know, learning a language is a sequential proce, we have to take it step by step.In order to put ourseves in a good English environment ,we'd better practice throughout a whole day.Now, I'd love to talk about my experience of studying English.In the morning, firstly, we have to preview the paage that we are to learn in the cla, for me, I often do some reading exercises, I read articles aloud, because it can improve my my English Oral and develop my good sense of language, I can remember words and sentences in this proce.5.Public Transportation（公共交通）
Good transportation is very important to the succe of both individuals and a city.Without efficient means of transportation, people will waste a great deal of time going to and from work.This will make them tired and le productive in their jobs.People may rely on either private or public transportation to get them to and from work.If a choice has to be made between spending money on improving the roads for private vehicles or improving public transportation, I would choose the latter for the following reasons.First of all, better public transportation systems, including buses, trains and subways, will encourage more people to use them rather than drive their own cars.This will reduce the total amount of traffic on the roads and make travel quicker for everyone.Second, using public transportation saves energy.A bus which carries 60 people is a far more efficient use of fuel than 60 individual cars driving the same route.And last but not least, greater use of public transportation causes le pollution and will keep the environment cleaner.There are many reasons to support spending money on public transportation.Good transportation systems make a city cleaner, more efficient and more convenient.This improves everyone’s quality of life and can make the city more prosperous.Therefore, I support spending money on public transportation systems rather than improving roads.好的交通工具对于个人和整个城市的成功都非常重要。如果没有有效率的交通工具，人们上下班会浪费很多时间。这会使人们疲倦，因而降低工作效率。人们上下班可以依赖私人或公共交通工具。如果要在花钱为私人车辆改善道路和花钱改善公共交通工具之间做选择，我会选择后者，原因如下。首先，较好的公共交通系统，包括公共汽车、火车和地下铁，会鼓励更多人去乘坐而不会自己开车，如此便能减少道路上整体的交能流量，让人们往来的速度更快。

My favorite TV program is CNN's Anderson Cooper 360.It is mainly a news program.However it's different from the ordinary news broadcasting.This program emphasizes on the news events and influences and people's opinions rather than plain news broadcasting.That's what I like about this program.The anchor of this program, Anderson Cooper, is an award-winning and very energetic journalist.As a journalist, he's not just an ordinary TV show anchor, but he tells the stories from a journalist's view.The program, because of Anderson Cooper's special talents and views as a journalist, is much more interesting than watching other news programs.7.Movies（电影）
Do you know the movie Titanic.That is one of my favorite movies.It's a love story about Jack and Rose.They met on a ship called Titanic ,and then they fell into love immediately.On the night of April 15, 1912 , the Titanic had an accident on the way to America.Jack and Rose fell into the sea with many other people.They were very frightened because they were afraid of losing each other.In the end ,Rose was saved,but Jack died.Rose was very sad.8.Cities（城市）
With industries and busine developing quickly, the number of trees in many big cities has dramatically reduces.Efforts are being made to prevent people from cutting more trees.But a lot of trees are being destroyed by people who have never thought of the importance of green plants.Making cities greener has many advantages.First, it can make our air cleaner.Some researchers have proved that trees can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere through absorption.Second, it can make our cities more beautiful.With trees and flowers everywhere, living conditions can be improved.Finally, it can produce timber—-an effective way to solve the problems of limited supply of natural resources.Making our cities greener requires nationwide efforts.People in every field should not only know about the importance of keeping the quality of urban environment, but also take common action to plant more trees and flowers so as to improve our living conditions.9.Famous Persons in China（中国名人）
Lu Xun is my favourite writer.He is one of the most famous writers in China.He wrote a lot of literary works.He was thin and not tall.He always wore a long old coat in that time.At first, he wanted to be a doctor and save people’s lives.So he learned medicine, but later he found the Chinese were in sensitive when they faced the oppreion of their enemies.So he began to write articles to wake the people up.Lu Xun wrote some famous novels, he attacked the social mores in that time, and in his works, many persons were known very well, such as “Ah Q”“Kong Yi ji”.I like Lu Xun because I also want to be a great writer like him.I like reading and writing, and I often write some articles in my free time.Though I don’t have good literary talent or a large vocabulary, I spend lots of time reading and writing to improve my writing skills.Lu Xun is my hero, I will learn more from him.I believe I can be a great writer like him in the future.10.Examinations（考试）
I don't remember how many examinations I've taken since I began my schooling.Truth to tell, I don't like examinations at all.I dare say that, in fact, no student likes examinations.We often hear people say “Examinations are teachers' magic weapon”, so most of us may think it is our teachers who give us students so many examinations.But I don't think so.Almost all of them have once been students before they became teachers.We don't like examinations, and neither do our teachers, which may be reasonably concluded.What's more,the more examinations we take, the more time will be taken from our teachers and the more troubles our teachers have to take.It is the system in our country, I think, that gives us students so many examinations.If there were no entrance examinations, and all the students could go up to the higher grades without competition, there would not be so many examinations in primary and middle schools.So it is important and neceary to reform the entrance system.Only in this way can examinations be greatly reduced, and then all the students will be happier.11.Media（媒体）
Ma media are very important tools of communication,through which information is paed to even the farthest end of the world.They enable us to communicate with each other by helping us to overcome the barriers of time and apace.Ma media function in various ways.Below are listed the most commonly seen.First, ma media keep us well informed of the happenings of the world which would otherwise remain unknown.Second, ma media persuade us mostly through advertisements.As we can see, newspapers, magazines and TV are filled with all kinds of colourful, persuasive advertisements which tempt us to buy their products.Third, ma media give us entertainment.Television and radio broadcasting provide us with a big variety of programmes every day.Films, books, magazines, etc.give us daily amusement.In a word, ma media will be all the more important in the future and their fufietions will enormously expand.Limited by apace, only a few examples are mentioned here.12.Birthday（生日）
