That was really an unforgettable night.I was waiting for buses at the station.There came an old lady, who was running to catch the bus.However,she was knocked down by a bike and the rider just ran away.The first thing came to my mind was the famous Pengyu’s incident,which shocked the ethic line of our society.All of a sudden,I was in a dilemma.I worried that I may be involved in troubles if I gave a hand to the elderly,as Pengyu’s incident was like a warning.So I was frozen.What surprised me most was that a paer-by girl,rushing acro the street without hesitation,putting the old lady on her back and carrying her to a hospital nearby.At that moment,I felt so embarraed and ashamed that I wanted to crawl a hole and never come out.She was just a student but she did something what an adult like me was afraid of.Never in my dream did I imagine that girl could have such an impact on my view of moral obligation.From then on,I decide to help strangers who is in need without hesitation and reservation.Because only in this way can our society become more harmonious.From my perspective,that little girl teaches me a lot that night.The conscience of the many outweighs the wicked behaviors of the few.That’s what we should keep in mind no matter what we experience.
