本课的教学对象为七年级的学生。全班共29人，其中女生占多数。大部分学生英语基础较差，没有英语表达的习惯，但对英语有着浓厚的兴趣。因此，在教学过程中教师应该多创造英语学习的氛围，关注学习群体的差异性发展，帮他们培养良好的学习习惯，形成有效的学习策略，使他们爱学英语，学好英语。因为本课内容较少且句式简单，所以学生对本课的理解和掌握难度不大。
