2012年11月26日，康菲石油公司透露了一项计划，公司计划将北里海产量分成协议，或卡沙甘油田8.4%的股权以约50亿美元的价格出售给印度ONGC Videsh公司，因为康菲石油继续努力今年剥离数十亿美元资产的进程。
康菲石油负责商业、业务发展和公司规划的执行副总裁Don Wallette表示：“这部分股权的出售是我们战略资产重新部署计划的一个重要组成。”

ConocoPhillips(COP)unveiled plans to sell its 8.4% interest in the North Caspian Sea Production Sharing Agreement, or Kashagan, to ONGC Videsh Ltd.for proceeds of about $5 billion, as the exploration and production company continues its effort to divest itself of billions of dollars in aets this year.“The sale of this quality aet is an important component of our ongoing strategic aet disposition program,” said Don Wallette, executive vice president of commercial, busine development and corporate planning.The company noted that as of Sept.30, the carrying value of the net aets related to ConocoPhillips's interest in Kashagan was about $5.5 billion.As such, it expects to record a write-down of about $400 million in the fourth quarter.The deal is expected to close in the first half of next year.
