The Little Prince-The Daydream of an adult
I always feel scared of the adult world.Though I am already an
adult, I still dislike the adult world from my deepest heart.I tend to
think that I'm still a child, then I can feel better.Then I read The Little Prince, a fairy tale for adults.And I saw a
new world.There are roses which can speak;there are sheep which
need to wear mouth-muffles;there are stars on which leave just one
person;and there's a kind of love, which can run acro billions of
light years and make all the stars in the sky dim and minute.Obviously the little prince is a special existence.He is not a boywho is perfect in every respect, but he has something majority of
people seek for.He knows what he wants and who he loves.He said,“Only the children know what they are looking for.They waste their
time over a rag doll and it becomes very important to them;and if
anybody takes it away from them, they cry…”
As we get elder, we are gaining something and losing something.Those thing we gained finally became our burdens, and those things
we lost finally became the very things which can protect us from
those burdens.But we lost them.So we can only go ahead with
heavy burdens on our shoulders.Only do we see the world with the heart can we get rid of those
meaningle burdens, and find out what we really need.I'm trying to
do it.But if everyone in the world see the world with the eyes but not the heart except me, I may feel lonely.That's why little prince lives on a planet which can only hold one person and a rose.At last, I want to show my favorite sentences.It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important.If someone loves a flower, of which just one single bloom grows in all the millions and millions of stars, it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars.He can say to himself, “Somewhere, my flower is there…”
