Hi guys, the topic I’m gonna talk about today is “the magic of silence”.First of all I wanna ask a simple question, how many of you would love to spend some time watching a funny radio of some animals.Please raise your hands.Ok, tell the truth, I would.So let’s entertain ourselves for a while and enjoy a video.Oh great, most of you guys are laughing your a off and this is exactly what I would love to see.Because it proves my view which are people love to see some humorous video or gif without human language.But it confused me too.Why? Why would people like to watch such a thing that they couldn’t even hear a word? Still remember Andrew Stanton said that” Storytelling without dialogue.It's the purest form of cinematic storytelling.” This interesting version made me kept thinking about it, and I suddenly caught my own point, that human just can’t stop themselves from wanting to complete the sentence and fill it in.The audiences don’t care about what ideas were directors expreing through those videos.The only thing they would be interested or in wanted to do is to figure characters’ feeling out themselves.And maybe that’s why lots and lots of human like to watch films without dialogues, just as they love those small yellow cute guys in!Just like Andrew Stanton said “There's a reason that we're all attracted to an infant or a puppy.It's not just that they're damn cute;it's because they
can't completely expre what they're thinking and what their intentions are.” such as that video I showed you before what really does the filmier wanna tell? Does he wanna say that cats are tougher than dogs or dogs have more patients dealing with their child or blablabla……? Well I bet the author would answer all those questions like this------yes, yes and yes.You see that’s my point!
So after getting through this point of view, I suddenly realize that sometimes all of us need some silence like those videos.We should all learn how to use the magic of silence not only in movies but also in our real life.There’s a famous sentence said that “Distance produces beauty”, it’s not exactly the same meaning about “the magic of silence” which I was talking about but both of them can helped to smooth out our relationship between others.Such as if you were having some big iue with one of your friends, silence might sometimes keep both of you clam.But you two might get into a fight after or even during an unpleasant conversation.Therefore, sometimes it is very important to keep our distant and maybe even keep it a mystery between whoever you are dealing with;it’s a really great idea to continue a perfect relationship with others.
