The Peril of Plastic
For a long period, our country has kept a close eye on the protection of environment in order to build a harmonious society.So the departments concerned have already taken measures to deal with the different kinds of pollution, which are the main threatening against our environment.But the use of plastic in large ma as one kind of white pollution utterly and completely perils our environment.Undoubtedly, the environmental protection aims to decrease or even avoid the pollution.Yet the plastic can really cause severe white pollution.Consequently, the plastic should not be used.Still, there is another strong belief in people’s minds encouraging them to use plastic as much as poible.That is the plastic constitutes great parts of the things we used in our daily life and it is really more convenient for humans.What’s more, just like Hegel said, exist, that was reasonable.So people use plastic without any anxiety.It is in the same condition that when a person gets cold, though he knows that the medicine itself can do harms to his body, he has to take it, just because the medicine at the same time has good effect on his cold.The fact of the person taking medicine for treating cold shares similarity with the fact of people using plastic for convenience.In reality, on one hand, some departments set laws and build systems of environmental protection.They call for citizens to protect environment in the minor matter.They encourage people to use sack instead of plastic bag.On the other hand, our people ignore the laws and appeals, and spare no effort to use different kinds of plastic for their convenience.May be when they see the plastic bags go with the wind in the sky and pollutes the water, they will be alarmed and begin to regret their abuse of plastic.But when they turn around, they still pick up a plastic bag and use it without any regret.Every coin has two sides.The convenience that plastic takes for us is great, but people still cannot ignore the serious pollution it takes for us, which is against our environment.The plastic itself cannot be condemned, but the awarene of our people in protecting environment really should be built and raised.黄亚楠：
