My National Day holiday
I had a memorable National Day holiday.Because this was the first time I had spend my holiday in Beijing.Beijing is a beautiful，flourishing and busy city.There are so many museums,galleries and built and natural heritage that I didn't know where to go for my holiday.But there is a proverb：A man who doesn't go to the Great Wall is not a true man if he has been to Beijing.So I decided to climb the Great Wall with my girlfriend.On October 2，we got up very early and met in the Deshengmen Bus Station since we learn for our masters' degree in the different school.After we had met,we took the 919 bus to go to the Great Wall.On the way to the Great Wall,we were so excited that we would arrive at the place which we had dreamt to.Although it was windy and a little cold on that day,but we thought it was sunny in our hearts.About an hour later,we arrived the destination,the Great Wall.It was so majestic and so long.We had been shocked.And there were so many tourists,what's more,there were many foreign tourists.So we went to buy the tickets immediately，and we could not to wait.Then we began to climb the Great Wall.It was so long,and I was so appreciating our ancestors' brightne.I could not help wondering that how could them take so many huge stones to the mountain peak and how far should them to get so many huge stones.With these wonders,we climb the Great Wall for three
hours.During our climbing,we took many photos,and we took photo with foreign tourists.My girlfriend and I took a photo together and we pasted it on the cup which we bought from the local busine man.But what impreed me mostly was the soldiers and policemen who protect our safety in the Great Wall.They were so busy helping tourists climb the Great Wall in order.Without their help,we could not enjoy a happy day there.So we must say thanks to the soldiers and policemen.
